Congratulations to our 2026 winners: Miles McCalister, Sarah Simonsen, & Donovan Jones. Recipients received their awards at our April 2, 2026 Under Klamath Skies program at the Klamath County Museum. 2027 applications will open at the end of January 2027.
About Glenn: Beloved and widely cherished, Glenn Justus was considered a pillar of the local music community. A source of inspiration, mentorship, peacekeeping, and fatherly encouragement, Glenn’s humble nature and home‑spun wisdom helped countless musicians recognize their talent and navigate the challenges of their craft. The son of a coal‑miner father and musician mother, Glenn taught himself music largely by ear. An accomplished songwriter, he could play nearly any stringed instrument to some degree. His talents extended to instrument‑making as well—many of which he generously gave away.
